The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.
Former twice world title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the traditional face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
